    Rotax Service in Dallas?

I just moved to the Dallas area approx 30 days ago, and I brought my Rans S-14 with me. It is equipped with a rotax 503, “B” box and it is in dire need of some service. I have owned it many years with no significant problems, however anytime I DID have an issue, it was ALWAYS Bing carb related. (I have Rotax with a passion…LOL) Anyways, I have a Dar inspection this weekend, and my engine is giving me serious problems, despite my complete overhaul of the carbs, and proper adjustment, as I always have done. I desperately need a mechanic who is knowledgeable of Rotax engines, to diagnose and repair my engine as quickly as possible, however I cannot find anyone in this town who can do this. Can you please assist? My ACFT is at Obrien airpark in Waxahachie, Texas (25XS) Please let me know if you know of anyone who can get me operational? Hopefully you've come from where you're aclimated to the heat-- I grew up "round those parts" and just never, ever, got accustomed to the heat.  Actually, the heat isn't too bad, in itself, but the high humidities made it unbearable.  For me, anywho.

My suggestion was to contact somebody at DFW LiteFlyers, EAA 393, at http://www.dfwliteflyers.org/ , and see if they could point you in the right direction.  But I noticed that you had already been there and posted a message-- considering your urgency, I'd call a member or two, listed at http://www.dfwliteflyers.org/about.html.

You might also try Future Flight LLC, not far out of Dallas, and thier website is http://www.poweredparachuting.com.

Somebody from either of the above should be able to recommend someone!

    Hope that helps!

P.S. - Glad to have you here!
